Here are some tips for the Marathon des Sables
This magical race is in complete autonomy, which means that you will be given only water, salt tabs, medical care (subject to conditions: see the rules) and of course a Berber tent to share with 7 competitors (7 + yourself). The rest is up to you to anticipate and to have with you all that is necessary for a good race. The concept of comfort is relative and will soon be associated with the weight that you wear!

THE GAITERS (Click to view the product)
Running in the sand is not easy but if it goes in the shoe it can quickly become a nightmare. Our gaiters protect from the intrusion of sans and are easily installed on all types of shoes.
THE SUNGLASSES (Click to view the product)
They are covering to prevent the entry of sand and they protect from the sun.
Wind or storm invite themselves regularly to the race and to keep the eyes protected is imperative.

After the race it is advised to breathe up the feets.
Our slippers are ultra flexible and lightweight. They can be squeezed easily to be placed into the backpack.
They do not force the toes, and can thus effectively treat any blisters. It is not advisable to walk barefoot on the bivouac, the needles of Acacia are very badly!
